Welcome to my new blog! Deutsch Esperanto 한국어

Picture by TheDreamSkyHello! Welcome to my new Blog!

Now it’s been more than two years, since I wrote the last entry of my “Korean Diary“. The “Korean Diary” accompanied me during my first stay in Korea from August 2004 to December 2006, in which I visitied a korean language course for one year and taught in a foreign language high school for one and a half years.

After two years of Korea break, in which I concluded the practical part of my education as a middle and high school teacher, now I return to Korea for teaching German for the “Hankuk University for Foreign Studies” from march on at the campus in Yongin.

Deliberately I thougt about whether to begin a new blog about my life in Korea or not. The “Korean Diary” was a good way to keep my family and my friends up to date about my experiences in Korea. By writing a blog I also got to know many interesting people and got involved into interesting discussions, that arose around many articles. Back then I wrote a lot, also because I craved to understand Korea and needed to explain the country to myself. Later the urge to describe Korea decreased. In the end I felt relieved, that it was possible to finish the project “Korean Diary” with my return to Germany.

That’s why I didn’t intend to write a new blog on Korea, but the number of former students, collegues, friends and family members, that exspect pictures and reports, ist much to high to keep them up to date just by email. This is the reason why I made a new blog, but it will be a little different from the last.

First of all, it won’t be focussed thematically: Yet, I haven’t decided what to write about in the longrun. Reports about my life in Korea will surely be a part of this blog, but it could also develop to a broad collage of thoughts.

Furthermore I started the experiment to blog in several languages, as not all of my friends understand German. It’s also a good opportunity to practise all my languages. Of course, I won’t always be able to translate every article into all languages. As I said, multilingual blogging will be an experiment.

Kia surprizo !

E-Mail, Passwort, Facebook, …?
